This project, I took the fairytale of Hansel & Gretel and adapted it into my own twist. I decided to create a bakery based on the story, that is owned by the “witch” who in this adaptation is just a widowed older lady with a undeserved reputation with children. Hansel & Gretel are school children who often get locked out of their home by their stepmother, and wander the streets with empty stomachs, until they stumble into a certain run down bakery and it’s delicious desserts.
